OLD POSTA STREET FIREWALL GREENING
– Living Facades, Timeless ImpactThe Régiposta utca renewal project in Budapest’s historic 5th district is a comprehensive urban revitalization initiative aimed at enhancing both functionality and environmental quality in a culturally sensitive area. A standout feature of the project is the vertical greening of the protected building’s fire wall. The 75 m² green façade transforms a previously plain masonry wall into a vibrant vertical garden, adding value not only to the building itself but also to the surrounding street.
To implement this green wall, the project utilized the inoxnet® Diagonal I-ROPE® greenery system, specifically designed for tight urban environments. The installation spans approximately 14 meters in height with a diagonal rope layout, enabling both vertical and lateral plant growth.
