Sport Arena Malacky

Located just outside Bratislava in the town of Malacky, Šport Aréna is a newly completed, multifunctional sports and community center that marks a new standard in public sports infrastructure in Slovakia.

Officially opened in March 2025, the facility includes a state-of-the-art ice rink, a versatile gymnasium for multiple team sports, fitness and relaxation zones, accommodation units, and team facilities — all designed to serve both professional athletes and the local community. The building’s architecture embraces natural light, clean modern lines, and open, fluid circulation areas that foster accessibility and openness.

In this visionary project, approx. 300 m² of our I-NET^® stainless steel mesh system (1.5 mm, 60×104 mm) was installed across staircases and open corridors, both indoors and outdoors. The mesh was applied in both vertical and diagonal configurations, with custom one-piece solutions developed to match the unique geometry of each staircase. The system was finished with 6 mm stainless steel border ropes and precision tension sets, ensuring strength, safety, and clean aesthetics.

The I-NET^® solution seamlessly integrates with the building’s design concept, supporting its lightweight, transparent architectural language while delivering certified safety and structural integrity.
